I Stuttered My Entire Life... Until Now
Ron spent a lifetime refusing to let stuttering define what he could achieve. From becoming a commercial pilot and flight instructor to building successful businesses, he continually pushed himself into situations that many people who stutter would avoid. Yet behind the accomplishments was a constant battle with speech blocks, speaking anxiety, and the fear of certain words and situations.
After trying speech therapy, fluency shaping programs, speech devices, Toastmasters, and countless other approaches over the years, Ron eventually stopped searching for answers. He believed he had already tried everything available.
Then, in retirement, an unexpected email led him to discover the Neuroscience Method.
In this episode of The StopStutter Podcast, Ron shares how decades of perseverance, personal growth, and hard-earned life lessons prepared him for a breakthrough he never expected. He discusses the connection between confidence and communication, why building a life around your strengths matters, and what happened when he finally found an approach that addressed stuttering in a completely different way.
